Christmas

So as everyone knows it’s Christmas time! With all the decorating and shopping for presents and spending time with loved ones, friends and family it's the best time of year. I say this is true for the most part. I think that spending time with family and friends is very important and don't get me wrong I do love this time of year but I have one issue... The Mall! Like most people I still have some people to buy for Christmas so I thought I would go to the mall and get the last couple of things one my list. Boy was I wrong! I couldn't believe how crazy it was in there and it was a Tuesday around 2pm. I thought I could beat the crows of people if I went (when I thought everyone would be at work). Nope... It was a mad house. I only got a couple of things and then we had to leave because it was getting busier the later we stayed. I don't know why but this happens every year! We all know Christmas/ Hanukkah is in December, yet everyone seems to wait till the last minute to get what they need. I know one if one thing is for sure next year, I will be starting my Christmas shopping early!

One good thing is that last night I was able to wrap all my presents so at least that part is done for now (well until I have to go out again and get more!).

It's that time again!

It's time for a wedding!!!!! Well not for a year or so but still, it's all very exciting : D

One of my best friends is getting married and has asked me to be a bridesmaid! I was so happy when she asked me; I've been to weddings before but never as a bridesmaid so I was very excited when she asked. I also had no idea how fast things book up! We booked a venue already and I couldn't believe that people have to book that far in advance. I guess this whole process is going to be a learning experience for both the bride and I. Just a couple months ago I attended another wedding but I was just a wedding guest and didn't have anything to do with the set up, so now that I'm involved it's a whole new ballgame!

Anyways I was thinking that I would share some of the ideas that my friend is going to be doing on here. I know we are going to be doing a lot of D.I.Y. and if I could share it on here it may be able to help someone out.
Also just to see what others do for their wedding is also neat :)

Life

So it's been awhile again! I know I'm horrible at staying with this thing and writing on it. Well a lot has happened in the last couple months! First I think just a couple days after I wrote my last post I received a call for a job interview and I ended up taking the position! :) It was great to finally be working in my field of chose, the only down side was that it was a contract position and only for a couple of months so when that ended I was a little sad to tell you the truth. From there I was back to the job search looking for anything in the area I wanted to work in (which is a pretty big area). I guess this is a bad time of year with everyone going on vacation and looking at the holidays which are only a couple days away to get a job. So I am still looking for work once more and having no luck at the moment. A little depressing in a way but then I guess I do have loads of free time on my hands and get to spend it with family, friends and loved ones. Which is always a plus :)

Another thing I have been thinking about is getting in better shape again. I know I wrote a post about this around the same time last year and my health is alright, it's just I would like to be very fit and more comfortable in my own body and trust me being a girl this is normally a hard thing to do. I also know that most people are thinking, "What are you nuts! It's Christmas time! You should be celebrating and eating anything you want!” That being said yes I know its Christmas, but I would still love to be in better shape. So I have started making better eating chooses and trying very not to over indulge, which is going to be very hard seeing as I going to my boyfriends Christmas dinner and his mother is a wonderful cook! Did I mention that she makes the most delicious Christmas cookies! Yeah I know.... But still I'm trying and that's what counts! (I hope so, anyways haha).


This has turned into a rather long post of me just rambling on about life but I thought I should let everyone know and hope to be back with more regular post!

FINISHED! :D

Well it's been a while... I have been really busy with school and looking for a job now that I'm all done. It's hard to believe that after 4 years of post secondary I'm finally finished school forever! At first it felt great! I didn't have to study anymore, I would have more free time to do what I like, be with family and friends. Now that the time is here I feel as though it's wasting away.... I have also been looking and applying to jobs for about a month now and still haven't heard anything, which is kind of depressing... Anyways I was thinking of other things I could be doing in my free time and I remembered my blog! Why not (in between applying to jobs of course) start doing more posts and getting back into the swing of things. So here is my first post of being a graduate!
