Favorite Candles

Hello,

Even though it is still summer and normally this time I year I don't find myself burning to many candles, normally it's more around Fall/Summer, but for some reason or another I have found myself with some summer scents that I just love! I thought why not show them to you and also include my favorites.

So first off let me talk about this candle. It happens to be the smallest that I have but I would say it's the most unique! While shopping at a local store with my boyfriend we came across some candles and we decided to sniff some and my boyfriend found this one! It didn't have a name, and only said what it smelled of.... fresh baked bread and sure enough it does! It's so strange but lovely all at the same time! It honesty smells like you've been baking bread in your kitchen all day! He loved the smell so much he put it in our basket (which normally he doesn't do with candles).
Next, with the baking theme I have one of my all time favorites! Christmas Cookie by Yankee Candle. I just love the smell of sweet baked cookies! Even though it's July I still light this in my kitchen and it just smells so yummy! I do give warning with this candle though, it will make you hungry!

Another food scent (can you tell I like the smell of food!) is Cappuccino by Hometrends. Now this candle is pretty neat, it has a crackling wooden wick that when it is burning it sounds almost like a fireplace. I like to have this one in the bedroom or living and just listen to it burning. This past winter I used this one a lot and still do. It smells like a cappuccino/ hot chocolate, just so delicious!

On to summer scents! This one is called Watermelon Lemonade by Bath and Body Works. One of my friends gave this to me as a gift and OMG it smells so good! Honestly it makes my mouth water! (I know TMI) But really it's great. If you ever get a chance to smell it or are in Bath and Body Works and you like watermelon go smell it! It's just the prefect summer scent and I find the candle has lasted pretty well seeing as I burn it a lot.

Last but definitely not least is Provence Garden 2014 from Bath and Body Works. This scent has to be my favorite out of the bunch. It smells so fresh and crisp I just love it! This is another one where if you're at a mall with a Bath and Body Works you need to stop in and have a sniff, you will be very glad you did! It just smells so summer garden, its wonderful! I also like how it's a three wick candle and it also lasts a long time seeing as how much I'm burning it!

So that's all of them! I hope you enjoyed, I know I always love reading about candles other people love. If you have any favorites let me know in the comments!

Till next time,

B

Toronto Trip - Part 2

Hello,

So The next day we went to the Toronto Zoo! It has to be one of my favorite places to go. I have always loved animals since I was little.

The last time I was at the zoo the panda's had just arrived and there were huge line ups everywhere! So it was my goal to see them this time! (Btw it was really hot out, so thats why most of the animals are just laying down).

Finally found the panda's! They even though they were taking a nap.

Happy to come home after a long weekend and I think my cat missed me, he wouldn't get out of our bag! lol

What is your favorite part about going to the zoo? What's your favorite animal to see?

Till next time,

B.

Trip To Toronto - Part 1

Hello,
So a couple of weekends ago I went on a trip to Toronto with my boyfriend, his brother and his brother's girlfriend. I was given tickets for my birthday to see the Lion King! Then they also planned a trip to the Zoo the next day! I have always loved animals and Disney movies, so for me it was a perfect weekend.

When we got to Toronto we stayed at the Sheridan Hotel. They were extremely nice and upgraded us to we could be on the same floor. The room was great and the view was excellent! I'll insert a couple of pictures I took of our room.

Amazing View, city hall

Then we went to the Lion King! Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take any pictures of the performance but if you get a chance to go see it you definitely should! :)

All in all it was an amazing day and the zoo was next! Stay tuned!
xoxo

Stress!

Hello,

So it's been a couple of months since I last posted on here... It feels like when life gets stressful or just too much is happening I tend to stop writing. It wasn't unit today and reminding myself that when I'm down and not feeling so great I go to YouTube and /or any of the blogs I follow and it makes me feel better. Also I know that writing down how I feel helps too.

So here it goes...

First off I moved, which is great, it's what I wanted to do but it's been stressful. Getting everything you own together and moving it all and then unpacking everything (I mean it's a lot!) Then around the same time I moved up in my job (temporally) which is also great but works been very stressful as well. I've been given much more responsibly and not a lot a time to complete tasks. Don't get me wrong I love what I'm doing but it just feels like a lot. And of course there is the wedding planning for my friend which is coming up fast. It also seems like a lot of the time to plan for the wedding is around my work and I have to keep changing my schedule.

I just feel overwhelmed and it's scary. I'm normally a very organized person and I just take things one step at a time but it just feels like too much. I know I'm not alone when it comes to feeling this way and there are people out there who are worse off than me. It's a horrible thing to go through.

I'm trying to think of ways to feel calmer, more relaxed. (If you know of any let me know). At night is the worst for me, it's then I tend to think of everything I have to do and the things not going right. For me I find that reading before bed is a good way to think of something else and then when you go to sleep I find myself thinking about the book and not the next day. Another thing I try and do is take a walk outside. Getting some fresh air and exercise has always been a way to relax for me; I just need to get out more!

I've also been thinking about the name I chose for this blog. At the time I was younger and was just trying to think of anything really. But now that I think of it, it seems a little silly. Things in life aren't always pretty. You get ups and downs; it's what makes life, life! I don't think you would appreciate the good in life as much if there weren’t any hardships.

Again, I'm not saying my life is horrible because it isn't. I have a loving boyfriend who has been there for me for 5 years, a wonderful cat, family. Just sometimes things add up that aren't great and we all need a little help.

This is a blog about my life and what I'm going through, I know this post is a little rambly and long but I just thought I can't be the only one in this. People feel like this a lot and knowing you’re not alone in this is just as helpful.
