Bridesmaids Dress

Hello!

So the past weekend all the bridesmaids and the bride went out to go dress shopping! We already did the wedding dress shopping a couple months before hand and had really great luck getting the dress she liked in the first store! This time around though there are 6 bridesmaids and we are all different sizes and shapes so we thought it would be a little bit more difficult. The week before we made appointments at 3 different stores in different cities around where we live just in case one of the stores didn't have anything that we liked.

The first appointment was at the store closest to home. I honestly thought they wouldn't have as much as the bigger store we booked for later and would have a harder time.

Was I ever wrong! When we went in the ladies were all very nice and understanding. (It's not every day you're looking for the same dress for someones who's 5'2 and someone who's 6'2!)

We decided to go for something that if floor length and as well as flowy. The wedding date is in October so we hoped it will be warmer than a short dress.

I think if you have a style in mind that's always better so you can limit some of the chooses.

The designer we went with is Dessy and in the picture it's a blue colour but for her wedding colours we are going more with a red tone, which is called Claret.

It looks a lot better on :)
Luckily the designer for this dress makes extra length. I find that you have to be really careful of that if you're a taller girl like me. There's no point in looking at a dress if you can't get it extended.

After we all decided we ended up canceling the other appointments and just going with the first store.

My tips for going dress shopping with the girls is do your research! Make sure you either look online or even just give the store a call and let them know what you're looking for. Also make more than one appointment. You can always cancel your appointment if you find your dresses at a different store, like we did. Finally, just have fun! It's not every day you get to go dress shopping for a special occasion with your friends/ love ones.
